Shown in the table are the standard colours offered by Riley.  Beside these colours Riley would paint a car to the owner's choice. A single colour would cost an addition £10 while a two tone finish would cost £30.  This means that any colour could be original provided it was available at the time of manufacture. A good example of this is a late RME which left the factory painted pink. It was delivered to Mrs. Victor Riley (Dorothy Champney).

Upholstery was generally leather although some early cars featured Bedford Cord seat inserts for added comfort.
